Color Correction
Structured work to fix banding, uneven color, unwanted tone or a home-color result.
Color correction is what a stylist does when the hair has a history that has to be undone before anything new can be built. Banding from repeated root applications, a box-color line, patchy lightening, a tone that went the wrong direction - all of it falls here.
It is planned work, not a single formula. Your stylist assesses what is in the hair, what the hair can safely handle, and how many appointments the plan realistically needs. That last part is discussed honestly up front rather than discovered halfway through.
Who this is for
- Your hair has bands of different tones down the length.
- You have box color, a home kit, or an old color you want out.
- A previous result did not come out as intended.
- You want a big change and your hair already carries a lot of history.
Not sure yet whether a correction is what you need? Book a Color Consultation first.
What the appointment looks like
A detailed history: everything that has been on your hair, including at home.
An honest assessment of what one appointment can achieve and what needs more than one.
The corrective work itself, kept within what your hair's condition allows.
A plan for what comes next, if the goal is a multi-visit one.
Pricing and appointment length are set by each stylist individually and confirmed with you directly at booking.
How to prepare, and what comes after
- Bring every detail you can remember - dates, brands, box colors, anything.
- Bring both a goal photo and, if you have one, a photo of the result you did not want.
- Expect bond-repair or conditioning treatments to be part of the plan, in the studio and at home.
How oftenCorrection is the start of a plan rather than a one-off; your stylist will tell you what to book next and when.

Questions about this service
Sometimes, and sometimes not. It depends on what is in the hair and what condition it is in. Your stylist will tell you honestly before starting rather than partway through.
For most corrections it is the better route. A consultation lets your stylist see the hair, plan the work and book the right appointment instead of guessing at the time needed.
